Chelsea set to sign James Rodriguez from Real Madrid

DAIILY MAIL REPORT THAT, JAMES RODRIGUEZ MIGHT BE ON HIS WAY TO CHELSEA SOONEST.

The club said to have a good partnership with the player's agent Jorge Mendes. This could be instrumental in luring the 24 year old colombian to the Bridge.

James has had a difficult time at Madrid since Rafeal Benitez arrival. The play-maker has not  had enough playing time due to Rafa s rotation policy. This has reportedly left the world cup golden boot winner frustrated as he desires more playing time.

The tactically gifted left footer have scored 20 times in 56 appearances for Real Madrid. The player has been linked with the Blues and was even recently mentioned in a swap deal involving another Chelsea star ,Edin Hazard.

James who is very quick ,talented and also a good finisher will obviously be a good addition to chelsea team as they have lost impetus in attack since the beginning of the season and could also prove to be Guus Hiddinks first singning in his second spell at Chelsea FC.

As Chelsea hope to reawaken the performing that saw them win the league seven months ago,and with the future of Cesc Fabregas not certain the acquisition of James would obviously be a great replacement for Spanish play maker who has fallen out with a section of the fans that believed Fabrigas was part of the trio that instigated Jose Mourinho's sack.

James Rodriguez moved from FC porto to Monaco for 45million euros and subsequently to Real Madrid for  80million euros. The Colombia international scored 25 goals in 3 seasons at Portugal .While at Monaco, he scored 9 goals in just a season ,before subsequently moving to Madrid after a wonderful world cup campaign with Colombia.

Rodriguez has scored 4 goals and bagged 4 assist in 12 club appearances this season. He also holds an 82.5 pass success percentage. He is a gifted player who can hold on to the ball.James is also a wonderful finisher. He will no doubt be a priceless asset to the Chelsea team if they are able to lure him away from the Satiago Bernabeu.

Blue fans have your say!!!
